Lentorata is a planned new rail connection that will run from Pasila via Helsinki Airport to the area south of Kerava station. <\/span>Lentorata Oy<\/span><\/strong> is responsible for planning the railway until it is ready for construction. As part of the project, the company assesses the environmental and societal impacts of the railway, its long-term benefits, project costs, financing options, and potential operating models.<\/span><\/p>\n Tulus first partnered with Lentorata Oy in <\/span>2024<\/span><\/strong> to support the update of the project’s sustainability programme. The collaboration continued in <\/span>2025<\/span><\/strong> with the development of a sustainability communications plan and the visual design and production of the company’s first sustainability report. In addition to faster journeys, the new line will increase rail capacity on the busy Pasila\u2013Kerava corridor and improve the reliability of rail transport nationwide. Approximately <\/span>24 kilometres<\/span><\/strong> of the railway will run underground in tunnels.<\/span><\/p>\n The project is currently in the detailed railway planning phase and is expected to reach construction readiness in early <\/span>2028<\/span><\/strong>.
